Rare First Edition Books
In general, the first edition of a book means its first appearance and printing using the same setting of type. It is also the closest representation of what the author wanted to convey in their work. First editions also interest collectors because this is the book before it was a classic or before it won any awards! There are a wide variety of first edition books that collectorsw target. Some rare examples include A Christmas Carol (Charles Dickens, 1843), The Great Gatsby (F. Scott Fitzgerald, 1925), and In Our Time (Ernest Hemmingway, 1924).
