Vintage Skateboards
Skateboarding began in the 1950’s when California surfers wanted to entertain themselves when the ocean was flat. This simple contraption, wheels attached to a board, eventually lead to a cultural phenomenon by the 1970s and 1980s. Today, vintage skateboards are referred to as “old school” and are desirable based on the fact that they are very displayable. Collectible boards today include Stacy Peralta’s “Powell Peralta,” Tony Hawk decks, Santa Cruz, SIMS, Christian Hosoi Hammerhead and many others. Check out vintage lego sets as well
